We spent a great day on campus with Heather and Brittney's families- starting with a visit to the newly remodeled Monte Bean Museum.
This must've been Heather giving her kids a snack while waiting for us to get there. Love their lips!
Lions and tigers and bears- oh my! (And Bree was able to join us for a little while- always fun!)
And an elephant! Lexi likes riding on Grandpa's shoulders as much as Owen.

Here's Ari giving the giraffe a "kiss".
Wish I would've taken a picture of the new Boyd K. Packer art gallery- full of his amazing bird carvings and paintings! Here's a photo from a Deseret News article about it- President Packer painting in his yard, and this picture is hanging at the museum. His son is the curator there, so it seemed like a perfect place to display his works.
Here are a couple of his pieces….so delicate, yet carved from wood. Pretty amazing talent!
Next we went to the Wilkinson Center to get some yummy BYU ice cream cones…
Curt's wearing the right shirt!

Grandpa and the boys went downstairs to bowl a game, while the girls went to shop at the Bookstore. Of course I had to get my chocolate covered cinnamon bears and praline fudge fix!
The little girls were just happy to sit down in the Bookstore and read books- cute! They were rearranging shelves that day, so it was a bit messy, but it didn't bother the girls a bit.
Then we met the guys at the Museum of Art for some fun pictures in front of a Philadelphia City of Brotherly Love sign.
Heather and her girls and I stopped at the Riverwoods on the way home for a carousel ride… (Heather had a free coupon- of course!) Blurry pictures, but happy smiles!
We ended our fun outing with a romp through the splash pad. It felt great in the hot Utah sun, and the perfect ending to a fantastic day!
