Cambria's Cute Little Voice
Cambria is discovering what her voice can do, and I loved this little video I caught as she was leaving to go home from my Mom's house. She seems a little surprised at the sounds she's making- and then made us all laugh. So cute! =)

Happy Birthday Matthew!

Matty turns two today, and I'm excited to be able to help him celebrate when I get there tomorrow! The other day I came across this picture of him from about a year and a half ago, I thought it looked similar to his mommy's picture from long ago. What do you think- does he look like a Toone??

Happy birthday big boy! Grandma and Grandpa sure do love you!

Ariana's Blessing Day

I guess anyone reading my blog would probably read Brittney's blog too, but I just had to include a couple of pictures from Ariana's blessing on Mother's Day. What a wonderful day for everyone! I'm glad Curt got to be there with them, and I'm counting the days till I can be! Doesn't Ariana look just like an angel in this beautiful dress from Spain?

Yes, we do love you, Ariana!

Sweet baby girls!

Last Sunday was Cambria's blessing day, and all the Yospe/Toone families were there- except me! But thanks to Nathan's webcam, I was able to feel like I was almost there. I kept clicking pictures on my computer, and thought I'd share a few of my favorites. Here are Cambria and Ariana, who will be blessed this Sunday while Grandpa's still out there. Can't wail till I can go back out and hold those sweet little ones!

Here's Cambria with Jake's Mom, Emma. Lucky lady!

Ariana was curious about all the action going on...

And here's my mom- who looks kind of surprised....the whole technology of the webcam amazes her. Maybe Cambria will be teensy like her- she's only 4'10"! Notice me in the corner- so glad I could be a part of the day!

It's a Misiego baby girl!!
This is joy times two! Our second beautiful granddaughter was born this afternoon. She was 7 lbs even, and only 18 1/2" long. She is yet to be named, but her mom and dad and two big brothers are thrilled that she has arrived! And so are we! All went smoothly, and they are both doing great! Here are a few early pictures- sure love the Web Cam that lets us be a part of these exciting occasions!

Her little 5 week old cousin Cambria came to visit tonight, and here they are together- sure love them both!! My joy is overflowing! =)

I'm in love!
I wish I had time to do a cute post, but just want to get the pictures on here. How I love that tiny little Cambria! I was in heaven just sitting and holding her for 10 days, and it broke my heart to leave her. I sure hope she'll remember me when I go back in June. Here's our precious tiny girl...

Our first grand daughter has arrived!

Little Cambria Nicole arrived last night at 8:15. Heather and Jake are the happy parents, and we're so grateful they gave us a beautiful grand daughter! Heather was a trooper and was very calm and centered....she ought to have lots more of these little ones! =)

We hate to be so far away, but felt very blessed to be able to share most of the evening with them by web-cam. Thanks Nathan!

We're so glad all of our kids were there together, and look forward to getting out there to meet her in person in a couple of weeks. Hopefully she won't change too much, but I think she did in just a day!

She is so sweet with dark hair and big eyes, a cute little nose and mouth, and Heather's long feet. She's little for our family- only 6 lbs. 14 oz and 20 inches long. We're so happy to welcome little Cambria!

It's all such a miracle! Here's one of my favorite poems- in fact, I sang this in a trio in church on the day Brianna was blessed. It was hard to get through as I was holding her, but I love the words.

Day Old Child
By Carol Lynn Pearson
My day old child lay in my arms
with my lips against her ear
I whispered strongly "How I wish,
I wish that you could hear,
"I've a hundred wonderful things to say
(A tiny cough and nod)
Hurry, hurry, hurry and grow
so I can tell you about God."
My day old baby's mouth was still
and my words only tickled her ear,
but a kind of light passed through her eyes,
and I saw this thought appear,
"How I wish I had a voice and words,
I've a hundred things to say,
Before I forget, I'd tell you of God,
I left Him yesterday."

For the love of a good husband....even better!

As we all know, Curt's more kind and compassionate than I am! =) He loves to serve, from fixing up one of our old bikes with the elders....
to fixing another bishop's car after they helped a family move from one ward to the other...
We had a little scare a couple of weeks ago when Curt passed out and was experiencing chest pains...
although he showered, shaved and got ready for the day before calling me at school to come and take him to the hospital, so here he is looking quite poised and handsome!
and he just kept right on working from his hospital bed while taking tests for a couple of days...
Everything checked out and he's doing just fine! I got completely spoiled for Valentine's Day, and should've taken a picture of my haul! Three dozen beautiful red roses, my favorite See's Victorian Toffee, a lovely candle, a beautiful card, and my car cleaned inside and out! Wow!! We also decided to "crash" the other ward's Valentine's dance, and it turned out to be a wonderful evening with good friends, good music and entertainment, and great food.
I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful husband- he's definitely a good man!
